Funding Available for Urban Rain Garden Natural Resource Restoration Projects (Monday, August 15, 2022)

$2,000,000.00 ia available to government agencies and non-profits for the design and construction of rain gardens and similar small-scale bio-retention systems in watersheds of the Hudson-Raritan Estuary.

Preference given to projects that will serve to reduce overall stormwater flow to Combined Sewer Overflow (CSO) systems and to projects that will benefit or are located in overburdened communities. See grant solicitation for full list of criteria.
