The Environmental Commission invites Cape May Point residents to be a part of the work of the Mayors' Monarch Pledge by adding milkweed to your garden. Any homeowner who wishes to receive FREE Common Milkweed (Asclepias syriaca) is encouraged to pick up your complimentary plant at the Public Works Maintenance building located at: 215 Lighthouse Avenue, Cape May Point, NJ 08212.
The plants will be given away on a first-come-first-serve basis. If any of the 150 plants are leftover, they will be planted in Pavilion Circle Gardens, thanks to Bedfellows who have offered space in their bed at the Circle.
