In this workshop, the participants will learn about the different types of cross-country ski equipment that are available and what to look for in selecting your first pair of skis. Other topics will include: how to dress and where to go skiing in New Jersey. The indoor lesson will begin at 1:30 PM at the Washington Corssing State Park Nature Center and last 1 -1 ½ hour. If the ground is snow covered, an additional 1+ hour outdoor ski lesson will be offered. This event is FREE but registration is required and participants will have to provide their own ski equipment for the outdoor lesson.
