Participants will hike around Branch Brook Park Lake and then catch the streetcar up to the northern area and walk along the Second River. Dr. Kirk Barrett will focus on the history of the park and its waterways, including the buried First River and Morris Canal. It will be an easy 3 to 5 miles of walking, mostly over smooth, level ground.
