The Sustainability Institute engages in research, pilot projects, and large scale policy development and education programs to build our collective capacity to understand the key trends that threaten a high quality of life in the future, and devise and implement solutions. We aim to build on our core institutional strengths in energy, land use, natural resources, community form, and decision making processes. The Sustainability Institute has taken on the programs and projects of the Municipal Land Use Center, which no longer exists.
