Description
South Jersey Land & Water Trust is a nonprofit organization whose mission is to preserve and protect the water resources and land within the watersheds of southern New Jersey through public education, advocacy, increased scientific understanding, and habitat preservation. Mantua/Woodbury Creeks Watershed Association, Oldmans Creek Watershed Association, The Upper Maurice River Watershed Association and Raccoon Creek Watershed Association, which formerly operated separately, have been folded into South Jersey Land and Water Trust. SJLWT is listed among New Jersey Watershed Organizations by the NJ Water Resources Research Institute and by the NJ Department of Environmental Protection.
