The Cape May Bird Observatory (CMBO) is a leader in research, environmental education, bird conservation, and recreational birding activities. Its mission is to understand and instill appreciation for the needs of resident and migrating birds so that human ambitions do not undermine them.
In addition to the Northwood Center, the CMBO runs the Center for Education and Research, 600 Route 47 North, Cape May Court House, NJ 08210. It can be contacted by telephone at (609) 861-0700 and by email at cmbo2@njaudubon.org. The Northwood Center is open year round, but hours vary seasonally. The store at the Center for Education and Research is open March- May and the trails are open year round.
