The Verona Environmental Comission has teamed up with the Essex Country Parks Department to host a nature clean up event for the West Essex Nature Trail which stretches from Verona Township over to neighboring Cedar Grove. The event will begin at 9 a.m. at the trail entrance at 280 Grove Ave. in Verona and is expected to finish around noon. All volunteers must sign a waiver to participate, be at least 12 years old, and are recommended to dress appropriately and bring work gloves.
