Join us for this unique after - hours program scheduled to highlight January’s “Wolf Moon” and Duke Farm’s spectacular Orchid Range. Meet in the Farm Barn Orientation Center for check in and to learn about the lore and names associated with each full moon appearing throughout the calendar. Following, we will take a moonlit walk to the Orchid Range to explore the wide variety of plants and to learn why and how they thrive under specialized conditions.
Enjoy a hot chocolate and “moon pie” before the walk back!
Dress for the weather. Layers are best for the winter walk and a visit to the toasty Orchid Range.
