The NJ Conservation Foundation will be hosting a educational Moth Night to celebrate National Moth Week at the Bamboo Brook Outdoor Education Center on July 28th at 8 p.m. Moths are one of nature's most diverse and interesting insect and this event will give any aspiring entomologists a chance to see these nocturnal wonders up close and personal. The event will begin with an indoor seminar about the science of moths as well as some useful insect observation techniques before moving outside to a light station which will attract all sorts of critters. Proper attire is strongly recommended, with long sleeve shirts and pants being suggested clothing to keep insects off one's skin.
