The Second Annual Whitesbog BioBlitz will take place on the weekend of Saturday, May 18th and Sunday, May 19th!
The BioBlitz is a 24-hour event that focuses on identifying and quantifying as many species as possible. Community members, naturalists, and scientists will work together to evaluate the biodiversity of the 3,000+ acre natural area around Whitesbog Village in the heart of the New Jersey Pine Barrens.
Registration will open at 11:00am on Saturday, May 18th and guided walks and activities will begin at noon. There will be programs and activities throughout the day on Saturday until 11:00pm. There will be no guided tour on Sunday, however visitors are encouraged to explore the trails around Whitesbog and catalog as many species as possible!
