On July 3rd ReClam the Bay invites you to come learn all about shellfish. Certified Shellfish Gardeners will teach you about the feeding patterns, life cycles and overall importance of these fragile creatures. Every year ReClam the Bay, a local non-profit environmental organization, grows millions of baby clams and oysters which are then used to restock the Barnegat Bay. The event runs from 1:00pm to 2:00pm at the Island Beach State Marina in Seaside Park. To learn more, click here (Link no longer available).
