The New Jersey Conservation Foundation will be hosting a butterfly spotting event at the Franklin Parker Preserve in Woodland Township on June 17th. The event will be hosted by Dr. Emile DeVito as participants search through one of NJ's largest nature preserves for southern butterfly species such as Bog Coppers. The event will begin at 9:30 a.m. at the Chatsworth Lake Entrance and run until 2:30 with an informative lunch break in the shade in between. The event is free to all but  it is recommended you bring appropriate attire, footgear, sunscreen, and a lunch!  Find out more by visiting the Foundation's event page at the link here.
