Kittatinny State Park will be teaming up with Double S Smokehouse to host a Bike and BBQ event on July 1st. The event will take riders on a 14 mile bike ride on a railroad trail loop while also learning some fun facts about the original railway that formed the trail along the way. There will also be a hour long lunch break towards the end of the ride where bikers will get to enjoy an assortment of BBQ eats available for purchase from Double S Smokehouse. Riders are expected to bring their own bikes and have the appropriate biking skills for the ride lenght. Bikers under 17 are also required to wear a helmet the entire length of the ride. Pre-registration is required and the event will cost $3 for children 6 to 11 and $5 for everyone 12 and up. Find out more by visiting the NJDEP event page at the following link here.
