Web Design and Development

All Web development for the New Jersey Environmental Digital Library is coded in Cold Fusion Markup Language (CFML), and made possible with the following tools:
  • Macromedia Cold Fusion server 5.0
  • Microsoft Access 2000
  • Microsoft Windows 2000 and NT 5.0
  • MS Internet Information Server
  • Macromedia Dreamweaver

Scanning Equipment:

A variety of equipment is used to scan and encode documents for the NJEDL. We have hardware and software for scanning slides, print documents, oversized documents, and more.

  • TTI Repro-graphic workstation with Reflex 45ei Camera System
  • Fujitsu M3091DC - Duplex color sheet feed scanner
  • Hewlett Packard ScanJet 4c - color flatbed scanner
  • Polaroid SprintScan 35 Plus - slide scanner
  • Altek / Vidar ColorScanner III - large format scanner (documents up to 40" wide)
  • Dazzle Digital Video Creator - for digital video and audio
  • Dell Optiplex G1 and Precision 420 workstations
  • Vidar TruScan 2 Scan-to-File Software
  • Adobe Photoshop 5.0
  • Lizardtech DjVu Workgroup Encoder (and other DjVu encoding software)
  • Adobe Acrobat (various versions)
