Digital Library Standards:The New Jersey Environmental Digital Library is dedicated to the mission of creating an open digital library, accessible to both the library and environmental communities throughout New Jersey. For this reason, it is important to us to embrace standards and methodologies that encourage the preservation and dissemination of this public information.If you have any questions about the policies and platforms we use in the creation of this digital library, in the selection of materials, or in any of the other issues involved with this project, we encourage you to contact us for more information. The NJEDL web site, and specifically our organizational directory, provides hyper-links to other organizations outside the control of the library. This linking should not be considered an endorsement of these organizations' Web sites, products, policies, or content. We are not responsible for the content of these sites, and do not have any authority to change, modify, or affect any site residing outside of the NJEDL server. This site attempts to provide accurate and appropriate information regarding the items that we catalog in our library. However, like any library, the NJEDL is not responsible for the contents of the reports, documents, maps, and other items in its collection. In all cases, information should be verified with the source whenever possible. The library employs a number of hardware and software products to provide digital copies of documents, some "born digital" and others digitized from print sources. In the process of creating digital copies of these documents, errors or omissions may occur.
