- Abstract
- This pamphlet explains how to take an active role in protecting your home and community from wildfire. It is designed for residents that live in areas like the Pinelands, where the threat from wildfire is a real concern. Studies show that a fast moving wildfire can destroy a home in only ten minutes. The pamphlet recommends 100' of defensible space, and provides a checklist of changes to make in order to reduce the threat to life and property.
